Course Description

This course covers more advanced communication techniques for managing the client-massage therapist relationship. Comprehensive examination of professional ethical, legal, and regulatory considerations for a massage therapy business are covered. Emphasis is placed on massage industry-specific professional essentials, including, but not limited to: business acumen, advertising and marketing, elements of effective job searches and applications, creating a business plan, and maintaining a client base. More advanced preparation and practice for the massage licensing exam will be covered.
