Course Description
This course provides an overview of the dynamics of inventory management and the crucial role that planning plays in the constantly changing supply chain environment. Topics include in-depth understanding of forecasting, customer demand, production planning, new product launches, managing slow moving and obsolete inventory and the technologies needed to support these areas. Concepts in Inventory Management complement those learned in Sourcing and Procurement for a big picture frame of reference.
