Course Description
This is an introductory manufacturing course for students enrolled in the Mechanical Engineering Technologies program needing basic machine shop knowledge and skills for their technology degree. Topics covered will include precision measurement, basic layout techniques, sawing, milling, and turning on a lathe.Note: This course is not intended for students in the Precision Machining Technology (PMT) program and cannot be taken for credit towards the PMT program.
