The General Welding Certificate is for those who want to acquire the technical knowledge and skills required for workers in welding. Learn industry safety standards in welding. Develop fundamental skills in Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and Oxy-fuel Welding. Additional skillsets will be developed in thermal cutting, industrial math applications and learn how to read blueprints used in metal fabrication and welding. The certificate courses ladder into a degree program.
